Mostly Assassin DOA: Feasible Now?
Well, you can call me crazy (I probably am), but before you do hear me out...
As you probably know, assassins suck... or to be more precise, _other_ assassins who aren't you suck. But people that suck at assassin probably can't finish the game and get to the DOA and wouldn't dare trying an all assassin DOA build. Due to all the chokepoints, you can be reasonably assured that those with assassins at the gate of anguish are of reasonable quality.
As you already know, it is possible for Assassins to use Shadow Form to Tank.
As you probably know, with buffs to Splinter Weapon and Death Blossom with Moebius Strike, you can deal lots of adjacent AOE damage (splinter weapon -> offhand -> death blossom -> moebius -> death blossom) will deal something like 360 armor ignoring damage in 5 seconds. This is more than your SF nuker, but adjacent instead of nearby and no knockdowns will be problematic.
Alternatively, mark of pain will work incredibly well, but there's other nice utility and survival skills in the same line as splinter weapon, and rits have a hard res or three.
With caltrops, assassins can AOE snare too.
But, I know and you know, assassins definitely can't monk. Oh well, I suppose you could have 5 assassins and 3 mo/a and fudge it.
Consider this successful DOA build:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10112475
1. "Can't be target of spells" Tank - replace with Shadow Form tank.
2. Regular nuker with hex removal -> replace with Death Blossom nuker with hex removal
3. Regular nuker with hex removal -> replace with Death Blossom nuker with hex removal
4. Nuker with snare -> replace with Death Blossom nuker with ward against foes and melee. Add caltrops to 2 and/or 3 if you need more snaring.
5. SS with spirit spam -> replace with Death Blossom nuker with blinding powder to replace reckless haste and spirits spam.
If more miss chance is required, add blinding powder to some of the earlier skillbars.
It would also be nice to have mark of pain on one of the assassins too.
6. Monk (healer's boon) with essence bond
7. Monk (spell breaker) with essence bond - replace with monk (zealous benediction) with spirit of failure
8. Monk (bonder)
Add shadow form to the skillbar of one other assassin and replace moebius with another offhand.
Add divine intervention to one of the monk
So, what do you think? Anyone game?

sins dont suck =0...people who dont know how to use them suck.
i dont know much about the DoA, but i have tried it a few times. i think you should have 2 a/me echo shadow form assassins death charge in, gank the monks and use return to get back before shadow form wears off and have them just for caster killers. you can also send them in shadow form-ed, and just before it ends, have a monk cast spell breaker and guardian on him and them when SF does wear off, have the monk heal spike with infuse health, leaving the sins still in-vulnerable (almost).

True... I think you need to replace the tank with something else. Or just evade the titans, they are only in 1 area. He should be able to do Torc'qua, Ravenheart and Stygian with this.
This build looks promosing, I'm completing Nightfall with my sin atm. so this might be worth testing sometime.

come to think of it....a group of 6 a/rt with splinter weapon spamming death blossom with a monk backing them up should take down a tight group extremley fast.

You severely underestimate how key constant KD is in the old build. You need to do something entirely different if you don't have it. Also your blossom "nukers" must have shadow step, because they can't go anywhere near the tank until the KDs or whatever alternative protection is up, and trying to run in while the enemies run towards your backline isn't the greatest plan.
